One of Ireland’s most experienced motorsport journalists and the only one from the Republic of Ireland with a Master’s Degree in Automotive Journalism. Sean is the author and editor of the weekly motorsport column, Motoring World in the Irish World Newspaper. As well as The Irish World, Moriarty’s words have graced the pages of well-known motoring titles like Motorsport News, F1 Racing and Pacenotes Rally Magazine.
The London-based reporter is the motorsport contributor to The Kerryman newspaper in his home town of Tralee and is the broadcast motorsport journalist for Radio Kerry. The Irish Independent (London edition) has published some his features too. He also acts as press officer for The Circuit of Kerry, Rally of the Lakes, The Kerry Winter Rally and The Killarney Historic Rally, and works in an advisory capacity with the London Irish Vintage Club.
As well as motorsport, he also writes about motorcycle sport and general automotive issues. He has written extensively on cycling too and has covered events like the Tour de France, Giro D’Italia and the Tour of Britain.
